Please Let Me Wonder - maybe the best song arrangement Brian has ever performed live with this group. Awesome. Darlin' - Darian storming the joint Don't Worry Baby - Jeff should do more leads. Gorgeous. Heroes & Villains - very cleverly and immensely skilfully done, but leaves me cold emotionally Add Some Music - never heard this done by the group before. Very tender and moving. But why did Roy Orbison never sue over the Only The Lonely steal? Worst/the dregs: Catch A Wave - awful arrangement, Brian trying to do a bass vocal lead. Drive-In - not being a fan of this track, it struck me as a substandard rip-off of "At The Hop" by Danny & The Juniors Gershwins: To my ear, it was like hearing a Beach Boys/Gershwin mash-up rather than a genuine synthesis of the two forms. The two elements were layered one over the other rather than meshing. Been listening to "Add Some Music" since the early 70's and not once have I ever connected it to the "Only The Lonely" lyrics by Orbison or even thought it remotely sounded like "Only The Lonely".
