I'd settle for at least a limited-edition Smile tote bag - as beach season still has a good 6 weeks or so left, I need something durable yet stylish and hip to carry my booze.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I thought Box Sets were traditionaly aimed for Christmas stockings.  Seems a month or two too late for that.

The possibilities are endless...Smile bobble-head dolls, Smile talcum powder, Smile lunch box (gotta do this one!), Smile plastic guitars, Smile hat (tribute to Mike), Smile board game by Milton Bradley...

I'll probably do the board game next, gotta come up with a name, though.  The Beatles board game was "Flip Your Wig".   Although the actual board will be easy - the whole Americana/Westward expansion thing..."Mrs. O'Leary's Cow kicked over a lamp and started a fire-move back 4 spaces!", "You landed at Plymouth Rock-move forward 2 spaces",   Saloon fight, Go directly to jail (you're under arrest!)", "Transcontinental railroad finished-forward 10 spaces", etc...

While we're waiting can we get an Al Jardine presents: Loop De Loop (flip flop flyin in an airplane) sessions boxset with liner notes by Jack Reilly?

I could see a "Who killed Smile?" board game along the lines of "Clue"...   There are endless who-done-it-with-what-and-where combinations...

Brian Wilson in the 24-hour telescope shop with the Reddi-Whip

I might just base it off Monopoly, since there are so many "places" I can use, there is a railroad (Cabinessence reference), jail ("your under arrest"), you build "cabins" instead of houses, etc...the fun part will be coming up with various cards for chance and community chest...

Community Chest = Brian's bank account and Capitol songwriting royalties.

Have a space on the board for "Plan Tour With The Maharishi". Have another space for "Invest in Nick Grillo's Real Estate Scheme". Then have another for "Fly To Holland, Record New Album".  When you land on those, all your money disappears until you draw the Community Chest card.

The jail in BB's monopoly can be "Lay in Bed at the Bellagio for 3 years", the get out of jail free card can say "Brian is Back campaign" or simply, "endless summer released"

I'm loving this monopoly idea

Houses = Smile Shops
Hotels = Capitol Building (idk)

Hell, why don't we just develop a Beach Boys "Rock Band" type of thing that will be more of an RPG video game where you get to pick which Beach Boys you want to be and navigate that character through the Beach Boys history????

^ That would be cool too. I'm not much of a video game person so I'd love the board-game as well. Actually, the video game would be great in one aspect: Lead Brian's character to finish SMiLE - the winner of this task will be the first person in history to hear SMiLE as it could have been in 66!

Besides, with a board-game we can bore the other players to tears with our seemingly unlimited knowledge of Beach Boys trivia when it's our turn to roll the dice :-D

Carl's character in the game would be cool because his task would keeping the band together after Brian "retires" from leadership. Mike's character would be fun because you could play as him during the 1970 fasting meltdown in LA.

Or make Producer Band, where you have a simple mixing console in front of you with a microphone and talk back button and you have to instruct the musicians (on your screen) what to do and mix the song down to produce a hit.

Producer Band would be fun to have options to be real music producers like crazy Phil Spector producing or a calm confident Brian Wilson . Producing the Fab 4 as George Martin would fun as well
