Title: PET SOUNDS at #52 in L.A. Post by: Ed Roach on May 29, 2011, 07:54:20 PM Should have thought to mention this before, as I guess there a a lot of people here who listen to the radio on the 'net. There's a really cool F.M. radio station here, 100.3 'The Sound L.A.', that kind of caters to 'my generation'. They have one day a week where they play nothing but full sides of vinyl!
This weekend they're playing the top 100 sides, and I happened to be fortunate enough to just be jumping in my car on a beautiful sunny California afternoon just as "Wouldn't It Be Nice" came on! Sadly, PET SOUNDS only came in at #52, but at least it was remembered. (I halfheartedly hoped I'd hear PACIFIC OCEAN BLUE!) (EXILE ON MAIN STREET is just coming on, if your interested.
