I would love to have been involved with SMiLE, but I am persona non grata within the Wilson camp now for daring to suggest I could do some arranging for them. Whoever does the strings and horns does not understand Brian's music, which is all about counterpoint. The 67' SMiLE Surfs Up would have been amazing, but I think it is one of the low points on the released version. My new album is here, well, it's being released one track at a time.
