Title: In The Back Of My Mind lyrics? Post by: homeontherange on April 24, 2011, 04:51:16 AM Isn't the Cabinessence site a good place for Beach Boys lyrics? I thought so, but I think the ITBOMM lyrics are wrong.
I'm blessed with everything A world to which a man can cling So happy (at?) times when (that?) I break out in tears In the back of my mind I still have my fears I live my life with (for?) her Love her true she knows I'm sure (I should?) I make her happy just living so plain In the back of my mind I'm 'fraid it's gonna change I tried to run far (a?)way from thoughts I should ('nt?) try to keep away But they just keep coming back to me I tried to rationalize But some day I might realize That things are just good the way they'll be I know it's so hard to find A girl who really understands your mind What will I do if I leave (lose?) her It will always be way in the back of my mind The last one I think is the most obvious. How can you NOT hear "lose"? It's pretty important for me to hear the correct lyrics here since it's one of my favourite BB songs, so please tell me what you think. Still, not as bad as CCR's "There's a bathroom on the right.", instead of "There's a bad moon on the rise." ;)

It could make a great topic on the Shut Down board to get all those lyrics perfect, wouldn't you think? Something similar to the Definite Vocal Credis thread of a few years back on this board.
