Well, she was somewhat put off from continuing here by the comments and actions of some posters, but the main reason was that there was a sudden family crisis: the man who raised her, and who she called 'father', had to have immediate bypass surgery a week or so ago, just as Bruce did some years ago.

Sadly, the outcome wasn't so happy: her father died on April 5th.

That poor kid must be going through hell right now. She was liked  by many members. I talked to some and they believed in her and wanted her to come back. They wanted to speak up for her but didn't want the bullsh*t. Now they wish they had. You and your family are in my prayers denni. I for one am proud of you for standing up for yourself. You talked highly of your parents, you and your mom will take care of each other. Stay in touch when you feel up to it. Your a special young lady.

Yes, she did mention that. That's very sad. I hope she knows and sees a lot of people here, that got to know here, care for her and wish her all strength she needs right now.

Or more directly (if you read this, Denni): my condolences, I hope you'll find strength, comfort and peace from your family and friends (and a bit from us as well).

Well said.  My condolences as well.  Hopefully you'll come back here to visit when you feel the time is right.

I'm sure someone will let her know of this thread and she will come and take a look sooner or later.

Gosh that's horrible, if somebody that is in touch with her reads this---all of my condolences and sincere best wishes for the future. She never did a thing to anyone and the way some treated her was a travesty, I wish her the best and hope her situation improves.

That's really sad to hear about her father. She seemed like she was pretty stressed/worried about the surgery before she left the board. Many condolences to Denni if she reads this.

I want to Thank Andrew for this thread for denni. If not for you, members wouldn't know what happened to her. Once she see's she has supporters here she might come back when the time is right for her.

I believe she is dennis wilsons daughter and so do others. Her dad that raised her was and will always be her dad and now he's gone. I hope when the time is right, she will talk to Ed or Jon or billy and get in touch with her siblings. Thats if she wants to know them. She said she didnt want to in some of her posts but she could change her mind.

She's in touch with some of them already. It should be interesting for her, to say the least

I haven't been checking in here for awhile myself, but I want to send out my condolences to Denni......she's a lovely gal and I'm wishing her only the best as she goes through her loss. As most things in our short lives, this too, takes time to heal.

She is a lovely gal. We all want the best for her. Thanks Donna K. She will love this thread, if she hasnt seen it already.

I think it took a lot of guts for her to come here and state who she is, actually. I hope she finds whatever information/people she seeks.

In case you're reading this, Denni, my condolences.

She had more then guts. She never put up with anyones crap. She was brave and told it like it is.

I lost my dad in 2009. It wasn't quite as "sudden" as with your dad, Denni...but I know what it's like to have somebody in your life one day...and then not. I'm not going to sugar coat it...it will be hard for a while. But one day. it'll start to get a little easier. I promise.  ;) You know how to contact me if you ever need somebody to talk to.  :)

I lost my Dad very suddenly as well Denni, so I can (unfortunately) relate to what you're feeling - I know there's nothing anyone can say to make it better, but in my experience the best thing you can do is stay close to family and try to remember all the good times.  Time does a lot to ease the pain, and as hard as it is to believe now, there will come a day when the happy memories outweigh the pain.
