Title: Another 1967 BB Lounge-Style Cover Post by: Shane on March 30, 2011, 09:28:46 PM I just found another interesting cover from the 1960s... this time it's piano stylist Floyd Cramer's version of "Good Vibrations". This instrumental version sounds almost like some long-lost outtake! Somebody must have a had a really sharp ear to catch all the details buried in the original mono vesion. Check it out!

Floyd Kramer is an ace piano player, if only for On The Rebound which my dad was obsessed with when I was growing up, for some reason. Tho not up to Carmen McRae standards, of course. I imagine there are lots of lesser known covers out there. I kinda like the Bakersfield Boogie Boys rendition of IGA( rumored to be Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam) Title: Re: Another 1967 BB Lounge-Style Cover Post by: D409 on March 31, 2011, 09:40:05 AM That version of H&V is very creepy indeed !
