Not meant to annoy Range Rover...

The great photographer Phil Stern died recently. For those unfamiliar, he was a genuine World War Two hero who fought with Darby's Rangers - some of you may have seen the James Garner film of that name, where Jimbo played Darby. Not one of his best, but never mind. Afterwards, Stern established himself as a photographer, taking many image (some iconic) of movie actors and jazz greats. Here's his obituary and an interview with some Hollywood anecdotes, as well as a healthy selection of his photographs. Love the one of Sinatra sparking up JFK's cigar!
