LMAO!!!  The PERFECT reply, Ian!!!

And here i thought this was gonna be a good place for new recipes from my BB friends.  Dang.  Good thing we've got a food thread over at Shut Down...

For the record, i think off-topic sections of a board are critical to its success.  Folks are going to go off-topic - there's no way around it when all possible avenues of on-topic discussion have been beaten to death.  There might as well be an off-topic place for them to do it.  It keeps the OT discussion corralled so that it doesn't infringe on the on-topic stuff, and it allows groups of people to talk about other things.

The next recipe of the day should be one for cookies that contain coconut.  I've been having a craving.

I've been having a craving.

Is that an insidious pregnancy/abortion allusion?

Quit being mean and get this down yer neck, Chuckles.

I haven't tried this one but it sounds good...............you can buy flaked coconut from the store or if you know Keith Richards, you can send him out for a fresh coconut  (just kidding, I love Keith)

Parmesan Crisps

Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 11 minutes
Yield: 10 crisps

Ingredients:

3 ounces Parmigiano-Reggiano
Freshly ground black pepper, smoked paprika, or cayenne, optional

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

Grate cheese on the small hole side of a 4-sided box grater into a small bowl. Using a tablespoon measure, place cheese in mounds onto a nonstick silicone pad or greased parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Flatten out mounds with the back of a spoon, making sure mounds are at least 4 inches apart. Season with pepper, paprika, or cayenne, if desired. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for 5 to 6 minutes or until golden.
