I'm at my senior year in High School.  Today we took senior portraits in library. It was a very vintage setting with records.  I brought my Pet Sounds and Surf's Up vinyls as well as some other significant vinyls to have in the background of my portrait.  Anyways, I have to have a senior quote for the yearbook and would like to have a Brian Wilson/Beach Boys quote/lyric.  I want something significant and meaningful.

Nothing like "Hey little Tomboy sit here on my lap..." -- that would be great, though?

I almost went with "To wear a floral shirt is an experience", which is apparently something Brian said.
The Beach Boys don't have too many deep, meaningful lyrics to quote. Just wasn't really their thing.

I stressed over my senior quote for months, had over a dozen final contenders; mostly song quotes that I thought were profound, stuff like that. I finally went with something that was not one of said over-dozen contenders: "If a tree falls in the woods and no one's around, who wants sandwiches?" I don't regret it at all, and not to toot my own horn, but I'd say it's one of the more memorable quotes in the book. Just a thought, I guess.

... although sometimes I do wish I had went with "I wish I would have dropped out."

I will always be grateful for the good education what I of had hear.

Seriously thought about "They say I've got brains, but they ain't doing me no good" for my senior quote. I settled on something a bit more upbeat instead - a Morrissey quote.

I would use "Stop and find a pretty shell for her." For some reason I really like that line, guess it's because I'm a sentimental guy and that line is a cute, sentimental thought. :)
