Not sure how legit this one is considering it's digital download art and it's credited to "The Beach Boy's", but this is from Amazon UK:

That's a cool post, I actually enjoyed seeing all those! It amazes me how many variations there are and that I've seen for several decades when scanning the bins around the holidays. I didn't know that 8-track existed, and had no idea there was a longbox for the CD. I had never seen that before, my copy was just the jewel case with the bonus tracks, and I thought that was the first time it came out on CD "officially". Thanks for the festive education!

More of the weird cassette variants also made it out on CD: Love this 80s design:

The cassette with the yellow spine. That's the one I got when I was ten years old - Christmas Eve 1990. I'm sure that tape is in a landfill somewhere, but I played the heck out of it every December until I got a CD in 2000

This one has *totally* era appropriate cover art: I have that on CD, and it was one of the very, very first CDs I ever owned. Got it given with my first CD player.

Here the BB Xmas songs are inexplicably bundled with "The Everly Brothers & The Boys Town Choir": I have the Everly Brothers Christmas album. Definitely not a rock and roll Xmas album! Just the brothers singing traditional carols with the Boys Town Choir. That's not an album I see often, unlike the Elvis and Beach Boys Xmas records.

I think the Everly Brothers' album could've been a very strong one. But the recording of the choir is wrong imo (technically-wise). I can't explain it but it sounds so muffled.... BTW the Everlys cut a song in the late 60s/early 70s called "Christmas eve can kill you". That's a strong one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiiQhPI1qM4

A (likely) "grey-market" 8-track tape release: Early era official 8-track tape release in white shell:
