As you can see by my name and picture, I am a HUGE fan of Arrested Development and I'm wondering if anyone else as ridiculously excited for this new season as I am. I guess you could just discuss the show in general, too.

Very excited about it, but a bit concerned as well somewhere in the back of my mind. I really want it to be good and really, really hope it won't end up ruining the show's legacy.

I'm excited. I'm sure it won't be the same as if they had done a 4th season in 2006 and even structurally the episodes will be done differently. But I think if I can accept that the show may be a bit tonally different and certainly structurally different then I'm sure there will be lots of valuable stuff to come out of it.

I am excited for this. Hopefully Tobias discovered social media on the show.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Massive fan and hugely excited. Not a huge fan of the characters having separate episode from each other, I love it when then all interact, but I'm sure it will be an incredible season.

I just read about this before I came here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/22/arrested-development-salaries-season-4_n_3321438.htmlIt seems like it was a compromise to keep costs down. I have mixed feelings about it too, but we'll see how it goes. No matter what, after 7 years, things were going to be different, but if it wasn't good they wouldn't have gotten the green light and everyone back.

Way overrated.
Any Becker fans in here? Now there's a good show.

Thoughts on the new season?
I'm hesitant, because I don't want to spoil anything for anyone else, and because we're only about half way through. We were watching at a party on Memorial Day and got through the first 6, before we had to leave for an improv show. I will say it is really annoying to watch it with people who aren't as familiar with the show as they should be and keep asking questions.

My opinion: not as good as the first 3 seasons, but still great. And very interesting plot-development-wise.

I thought it was excellent. Took a few episodes but it found its way and I loved it.

It was a really slow burn - it really picks up when Job and Tobias get their first episodes, and after a little while you get all 'oh that's where that comes from in the 2nd ep' and all that. And I thought the ending was really quite... I don't think powerful's the word, but a really surprising move!

All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.
What is this "life" thing you speak of ?
Syncopate it? In front of all these people?!

I'm currently re-watching the first 3 seasons to eventually watch the new stuff. I've heard there's talk of even more episodes after season 4?
