here are some of the photos i got from the fire department yesterday of the fire. pics don't do them justice. have to actually see and smell what is left. my house was a limestone house. that contained the fire. insides all burnt up. plus fire inspector left photos of where the lightning came up from the ground by a neighbor's oak tree, blew out 2 holes by his sidewalk, exited the tree and burnt up over 2,000 feet of insulation off the power line that i was connected to. the breaker box shows two 50 cent holes the lightning burnt thru and started the fire. one thing...somehow, i don't remember this, but when i changed insurance companies 4 years ago i got a rider for the collection. i have a printed out spreadsheet of about 60% of it. guy said i would get current value of those items. oh well..better than nothing but i can never obtain the rare stuff i had.
company treating us ok for now. looks like i am going to be put up in a nice new apartment complex back in my home town of ashland, ky while this mess gets sorted out and fixed.
thanks again for everyone's kind words and offers. thanks for the offers for extra records but those belong to the current owners of them.
