Let's not forget that no date has EVER been officially announced by Capitol.  So how can the date truly be bumped.

Whatever Brian is working on he looks to be enjoying himself.

Brief scenes (and outtake footage) of It's OK appeared in Malcolm Leo's excellent 1985 documentary The Beach Boys: An American Band, but the complete TV special (which runs about 50 minutes) was never aired again, and is nearly impossible to see today. We will be showing an extremely rare 16mm print of the full program.

It's available on DVD......
Not in the US.

110  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Brian gigging with The Beach Boys 1984-1996 on: August 23, 2010, 10:22:38 AM
6/29 - Canadian Olympic Park, Calgary AB, Canada

I saw this show.  Mike was absent.  Carl said he couldn't make it, and much to the chagrin of the other Beach Boys, Brian chimed in with, "He's very sick, in fact he might die!"
What year was that?
111  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Best Amazon Review Ever Of The BWPS DVD-Set - Brilliant Opinion on: August 13, 2010, 11:39:59 AM
Pretty sure the meaning was, directed by Brian: not directed at Brian
112  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Have any of the Beatles ever covered a Beach Boys song? on: May 11, 2010, 08:45:22 AM
At least, not after their first few albums. But didn't John Lennon do an oldies album in the 70s? Stupid question, I know, but I haven't followed the Beatles solo stuff very much. I imagine that there were no BB covers on Lennon's album or I am sure I would've heard about it by now.
Lennon's oldies album was strctly 50's rock and roll.

114  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: BEACH BOYS PBS 'AMERICAN MASTERS' SPECIAL IS IN THE WORKS on: December 03, 2009, 08:01:30 PM
And, it's funny, but among my favorite artists are Frank Sinatra, Jim Morrison, Johnny Cash, and The New York Dolls. What a bunch of swell guys they were, huh?
Cash was a good man at his core
115  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Knebworth CD - Has it set a new record ????? on: November 17, 2009, 12:57:58 PM

He wrote some new songs with Brian in the mid 90s.

Let's not forget Carl was slated to sing on Imagination.
118  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: What releases would you like to see in the future? on: October 08, 2006, 05:11:23 AM
Oh, and BTW, on the blueboard last week the admin said that a smile box set will likely never happen, even though the boss around there i've heard never says never.  The Admin said that capitol records told him they're not even considering doing it anymore.

"Brian, why did you finally decide to give a Smile Sessions box the green light ?"

"Well, my wife and managers thought it would be a good idea".
Zing!
119  Non Smiley Smile Stuff / General Music Discussion / Re: Beatles Remasters? on: August 23, 2006, 08:47:02 PM
Little Boy Blew still owns the songs from what I understand.

 Huh  Who might that be?

I never knew there was a video of "Forever" 'til I found it on YouTube by accident/mistake.  Since I don't own the album, it was the first I'd heard it.  Carl and the other guys also have cameos in the video.

Kinda makes me sick.

John Stamos perhaps?
123  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Seasons In The Sun on: July 01, 2006, 06:56:17 PM
I think the guitar part is kinda cool at the intro the rest was benith them. Brian and Mike were smart to NOT take this seriously. Carl sounds like he is about to laugh and if you listen to the back up after "it's hard to die" so does Brian.
Carl's vocal is beautiful though.
