I've read that George Martin says he played harpsichord, and that Paul did play bass

Simply the best compilation of the Beach Boys material. I wish they put Let Him Run Wild on though. I don't understand why Brian thinks his vocals were bad.
it's because he doesn't like sounding "like a fairy" or being "considered a chick"

The Warmth Of The Sun, IJWMFTT, and I Went To Sleep immediately spring to my mind . . . and also Surf's Up, etc., ad infinitum . . .

"Hello!" is completely 100% Carl.

I always thought so too.  Well, maybe not 100%.  What if it's Dennis?  I'm still in favor of saying it's Al for most if not all of the falsetto parts.

I read that the opening line to Bad Sneakers refers to the original lineup of Steely Dan, with the "chimp" being David Palmer - who knows if it's true . . .

What I meant to say was, I didn't think the modular system was the sound source for the ribbon controller[/color]

I've read that it was used on California Girls, too.  Also, I was under the impression it could be used independent of the synthesizer setup

Hi Stephen,

Can you tell me what songs Mike played the Moog ribbon controller on onstage, how long he used this instrument, and where it might be right now?

Read back, this was answered before -- with pictures too. ~swd
Thanks, but - I think I found the thread you're referring to, and none of my questions are answered in it
