Deirdre? Crazy talk.

There are only two songs I don't like on this album, and the one remaining is Got to know the woman

I love "Deirdre," but will vote it out later.  The track I was referring to "picking on" next is "Add Some Music," a track that's great but weak in this wondrous field of beauty.  Looks like a lot of us are going to be all over the place with our votes.  "Cool Cool Water" - really?  They made this into a perfect track that was little more than a demo or section from the SMiLE sessions.
.
Don't want to waste my vote, so I'm going to shift gears into "saving" mode...and it's early in the game!
.
My "Silver Hammer" goes bang bang on:

Got To Know The Woman

come and do the chickun? really Dennis?

The lyrical content of Dennis's music is really what does him in IMO. Brian's songs are so sensitive and sweet, while Dennis's expresses the ugly, dominating side of masculine sexuality. The protagonists of Brian's songs are the quiet guys afraid to ask girls out, while the protagonists of Dennis's songs wouldn't hesitate to force women into performing.

His music sounds just like the way he looked back in the 70s; hairy and really pretty greasy. Brian's style is just more appealing in the 21st century. Dennis was a man of his times -- macho to a fault. Brian "wasn't made for his times."

Brian was a womanizer too though he just happened to be not so open about it
