Just wanted to wish everyone well as I intend to take a break from the site for a bit. I don't post frequently but have enjoyed periodically trying to inject some humor on the board. It has been a rough year, as I lost my elderly mother last fall then also lost my handicapped daughter in April. It has been nice hearing from old friends like Andrew, Peter Reum and Derek Bill. Before I go,  some suggestions for future threads...
   Carl and Mismatched Socks

Hello everyone. I have been reading posts for a few days and decided to start participating again. Noticed the stuff going on with Mike Eder and hope he is ok.
I thought I would start in the sandbox and see where this leads...

the old professor sends his condolences and thoughts. I know we are all stranger's here, but it's important to come to peers who care at moments of sadness and loss. We really do care about each other, and sending good energy can be a source of support; I rely upon it too.
