If you had a job that you really loved, got the postive reaction from a large group, got to sing those wonderful songs and made a killing doing it, why wouldnt you continue.

Those bow bows make the song! I know many casual fans who are endlessly amused by Mike's vocals, in a positive way! They love hearing such songs just to laugh not in mean spirits at the Mike Love vocals.

no, I mean, I agree with you about the bow bows. there's this one video from the 60s where they're playing it on TV and Mike's backing vocals are mixed really really high so it's like another lead vocal but all the words he saying are meaningless, and it's GREAT.

Say what you want about Mike but he still does a lot of shows every year, i'd like to see the mop-tops match that. I'd like to see Mick Jagger get out on stage and do I Get Around VS Jumpin' Jack Flash any day now. Now a lot of people on this forum will say that Mike Love is crazy, well they've been saying that for years!

We don't-do you? I'm sure he did for quite awhile. Kids, lawyers and turbans(could be the name of his next solo attempt/bomb) could be costin' him big time.

I always thought this was an odd thing to say on Mike's part: his bit about Jumpin Jack Flash: considering it was the Beach Boys themselves who had covered the song in question with Mike doing a pretty good Jagger imitation. So, how exactly was Jagger supposed to be insulted??
