Not a title, of course, but...
"Cool water is such a gas"
Every time I hear that, I think "No, Mike. It's a liquid."
omg yes, and he says it so conceitedly as if it's some supreme pearl of wisdom aihdshauidhiualhdiulahdiulHIUGHIUGFUIFGIUFSGUGBCUCUCHuh. sorry, i just really hate that lyric

"A/S/L"?
"Age:24. That's when Brian Wilson made Pet Sounds. Sex: Brian Wilson was having loads of sex with Marilyn when he made Pet Sounds. Location: Gold Star Studios, where Brian Wilson assembled with the Wrecking Crew to make Pet Sounds. Hbu?"

"such a gas" is/was a saying to mean cool back in the 60s/70s. See also - fab, gear, groovy, hip. Not to be meant in the literal sense.

Ten Little Indians--No, there's more than only ten in the world.
Heads You Win, Tails I Lose--not always!
The Surfer Moon--The moon doesn't surf--or are they referring to a game surfers play where they moon each other?
In My Room--at the time the song was written, no. More like in Diane, Marilyn and Barbara's room at the Rovell's!
Surfers Rule--not in the Midwest. You can't surf on Lake Michigan!
Our Favorite Recording Sessions--considering that Murry was still managing and bullying the guys in the studio at this time, I doubt that they could name any "favorite" sessions during this time (not until after Murry was fired)!
Don't Back Down--Brian was still backing down to Murry's demands at this time!
Do You Like Worms?--never heard any stories about any of the BBs having pet worms--unless maybe Brian's dogs had worms. Maybe that's why Brian's dogs were going to the bathroom in his sandbox!
Country Air--in Los Angeles?!?
Let the Wind Blow--the wind blows by itself; it doesn't need permission for humans to "let" it blow!
Be Still--Uh, womanizer Dennis was far from ever being "still!"
I Went To Sleep--no, you didn't. If you went to sleep, you wouldn't be singing to us right now!
Had to Phone Ya--I don't think Dr. Landy allowed Brian to "phone" anyone (not without supervision, anyway)
Summer of Love--in 1992?!? I don't think so. In '92, you had the Rodney King verdict and the riots that ensued, during which people hardly showed much "love!"
Rainbow Eyes--I have yet to encounter anyone whose eyes resemble a rainbow in any form!
How Can We Still Be Dancing?--simple. We stand up, and then we move our legs and feet! Not hard to figure out!

Yes, I know. But it's still funny.
I'm also familiar with the use of the word in Brian's Jan & Dean song "New Girl In School". ("They really dig her, now , she's such a gas..")

Here's the thing about that song - "I kissed her in a way that I never kissed a girl before". Admit it, you never kissed a boy that way either. Feigning bisexuality to appear more interesting may have worked for Bowie, but you're just not cut out for it, Al.

"it's ok"-No it's "Okay"
Is it not conceivable that maybe the "OK" was referring to Oklahoma? After all, another song on the same album talks about going "back home" to Ohio (which also is incorrect, btw, unless Al were to sing it, which he did in 1963)...
That's
Al
on the '63 Back Home?
I'm going to listen........
No, it's Brian on the '63 "Back Home". Al sings the version from the
Sunflower
era.
I don't have it on hand, but doesn't Mike sing the '63 version?

I had plans for reviving this fun thread much earlier (circa January-February this year), but somehow forgot about its existence & only now remembered. Anyway, here's new ideas:
Sweet Mountain - never heard mountain is a confectionery.
Almost Summer - it's autumn now.
Goin' to the Beach - as if there's no other place to go.
You're Still a Mystery - no one is a mystery, let alone still. It's a very misguided statement.
Concert Tonight - not around here.
Saturday Morning In the City - here, it's Tuesday already.
Rainbow Eyes - 7-colored eyes are impossible.
Everybody Wants to Live - sadly, no. Some people commit suicide & mostly due to the stupid reasons imo.
I Believe in Miracles - rubbish.
Summer Means Fun - well, I don't like summer.

We'll Run Away - He did quite the opposite I hear.
Don't Hurt My Little Sister - what sister?
Our Favourite Recording Session - well maybe it was true then, but I doubt it's true now
Surf's Up - an intentional, blatant lie
Sail Plane Song - It's about an airplane. It's in the first line...
Everyone's in love With You - I was under the impression that at least John Lennon was pretty disillusioned
bonus:
I Write the Songs - Unless you're Bruce then nope, you didn't write that one. And if you are Bruce that's still a lie.

"Cottenfields"-what can i say they are white and only black people work in the cotten fields..
"whistle in"-since it's the last song shouldn't it really be "whistle out"?
"getting hungry"-they aren't cannibals...or ARE they? hmmmmm.
"the surfer moon"-wouldn't the moon be too big and cause a lot of destruction if it decided to go surfing?
"Baby blue"-doesn't make sense unless you are a smurf
