The acting is just AWWWFUL. But it sure is funny. I never knew a biopic had even existed of them. At 1:15, does that guy ever look like Mike there. It seems like they're making fun of Brian's breakdown. Did he really act out that much in reality on that plane?

IStrangely, none of these classic  scenes had been Youtubed already!

Pretty sure the whole thing has been added and deleted quite a few times already. But hey, somebody's got to be the one to re-add it (before it's re-deleted), so thanks.

You're dead edgy.  Exciting.

I'm not being--or trying to be--edgy in any way. I was just explaining something that you apparently didn't know. I am exciting, though. I'll give you that.

The cocaine sessions scene is actually probably more accurate than we think. Or would like to admit. The best part of that movie wasn't even in the above post:

It's funny I remember in 1990 seeing it and saying to my mom that they probably put in the word Buckwheat because that can't swear on ABC (especally in 1990). She thought for a second and said Mike's a big enough dork to really say that. I like Mike but I couldn't help but laugh at what she said.

I have diabetes since I was 4 (I'm 25 now) and to tell you the truth, it ain't nothing very difficult to live with nowadays. But of course it is a nice idea to support such projects.

I've added some of the best moments from the 'Summer Dreams' biopic.  Strangely, none of these classic  scenes had been Youtubed already!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5taTzrv400

Wow.  Even a terrible imitation of Jimi Hendrix's voice with his "Surf music's dead!" exclamation from Monterrey Pop. Which is more bullmerda that's been perpetuated throughout the years...ahhh, why do I bother? It's "Summer Dreams"!  LOL

I posted a video I made of all of the renditions I have of the Beach Boys doing "Their Hearts were Full of Spring" (released and otherwise) and put it on Youtube. Hope you like it!

Incidentally, if someone could post this on Beach Boys Britain, that would be nice. I think Bruce would enjoy it.

Not to get all AGD on you, but you do know "youll never hear surf music again" was 1.) Jimi lamenting Dick Dale's illness, 2.) from "Third Stone From The Sun and 3.) was NOT performed at Monterey, right?

This one?

I downloaded a large set of pictures from a poster on this very forum (it's still there, I think, under the Media section). I do believe the picture is from Nashville 1996, and it's interesting that they all look thrilled to be there except for Carl, who we know was probably sick by then.

What do you guys think? It's funny that their voices may have gotten lower, but when they really wanted to they could still deliver on a demanding song like "Their Hearts."
