I'm in the market for two tickets to this gig as i missed out on purchasing tickets as i was at work.

Can anyone who has used getmein ot seatwave tell me if these sites are legitimate or not based on your own experiences. I dont want to miss out on this once in a lifetime gig. Truth is i gambled thinking they would put more gigs on in the UK and it backfired bigtime now im gettin desperate.

Any help or opinions??

It would appear that unless Getmein has changed lately, that isn't legit. Seatwave seems a little more above board although their fees are extortionate. Wish I could be more help, but I'd definitely not use one of those sites to purchase anything. If you're a Londoner, it probably wouldn't hurt to pop down the box office and have a chat, or if not give them a ring - someone might cancel their tickets. I do it all the time for theatre tickets. Also, someone on here might have tickets to sell closer to the time! Good luck.

I used Seatwave back in 2009 to get a last minute same day ticket for Fleetwood Mac at Wembley Arena. Booked ticket there and then over the phone, picked it up from HMV Trocadero Piccadilly Circus at 6pm, dashed up to Wembley on the tube, got there in plenty of time for a couple of leisurely pints of Guinness outside before the show.

Seatwave are fine if you're prepared to pay the extra as they specialise in returns and selling tickets on, the Fleetwood Mac ticket cost me £70, but it was a last minute decision to go to the concert. Have also used http://www.double8tickets.com/ again for Wembley Arena and they're fine too if you're prepared to pay slightly over the odds.

OH THANK GOD!!!

I booked my Wembley tickets on there yesterday out of desperation. I've been apprehensive since I've read mixed reviews.

I'm so relieved things worked out for you. Hopefully I'll be in the same boat

I got my tickets last week for Wembley. I'd definitely be up for a meet up and put some faces to names

Re: Seatwave/Getmein-I'm in the same boat looking for tickets for Ben Folds Five after the gig on the 23rd Nov was listed as Bournemouth and then changed to Bristol, which is down the road from me. 2 tickets inc. handling fees are just over £180!!

When he busts out 'WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN' we are all picking a harmony and screaming it as loud as we can so we fill Wembley with a weird, overly enthusiastic chord. Right?

Maybe instead of a wristband, we should all be given a note to scream

I'll miss the note by a long shot - but we can sort that out if we meet up Grin

I'm picturing the look on Mike's face as he looks out to 12,000 people, all with one finger in their ear a la Dennis. It's not pretty!!

I must say though, woe betide anyone in Wembley sitting near Block C4, Row 10 Seat 53, as you'll have to deal with my singing for near on 2 and a half hours!
