I signed up for a free trial just out of curiosity and it's basically just a playlist of the following songs.  Nothing really special but interesting.  Some of the non-Beach Boys song choices are questionable but some are also pretty nice.  I can't help but doubt that Brian really put that much effort into "handpicking" the Beach Boys tracks which (with the exception of That's Why God Made the Radio and the live version of Darlin') are all available on Sounds of Summer in some form.
