It is Carl.
carl was doing the back up vocals when brian said "i love you".. Ever heard of this super-awesome new technique called overdubbing? yes..what makes you think it was carl? it sounds exactly like brian.

Most of us probably read this in one or more of the many books released about the band. Take our word for it, it is Carl. We wouldn't post about it if we didn't know about it. We are not deceiving you.

Why did we come to the consensus that it was Brian, then, in the vocal credits thread? I'm not sure either way now who it is.

Actually, it was Carol Kaye -- and you'd better not suggest otherwise!

'Surf's Up' (preferably the TSS version), but I'd be happy with 'Good Vibrations', too.

God Only Knows. The only song I've ever heard that I consider to be absolutely perfect. There's something magical happening on literally every second of that song. I could listen to it ten times in a row without getting bored.

I love so many of the Pet Sounds/Smile Sessions tracks, but I still have to go with Don't Worry Baby.

I would be happy with any of these songs: God Only Knows (Mono) Good Vibrations (Single version) Surfs Up (TSS version) Wouldn't It Be Nice (Mono) Heroes and Villains (TSS version) In my opinion the top 5 Beach Boys songs ever!

It has to be Good Vibrations. Probably the best song ever written.

I was reading this thread, then noticed I had already replied in 2011! I replied either All This Is That or Do It Again. I can now say that I'd pick All This Is That.

I'm waiting for the day
Hey, that's one of my favorites from Pet Sounds... I can't decide between "Here Today", "Help Me, Rhonda" and "Dance, Dance, Dance". (Why on earth did they drop that from the setlist?)
