"A Tree With Roots" on original Scorpio factory-pressed silver discs,

I have this and it is probably the single coolest CD set I own.  The packaging is gorgeous, with a high gloss full color photo fold-out packaging.  Not much in the way of liner notes, but well worth seeking out.  Have you tried Silverdisc Records? They sometimes have them in stock.  I got mine from Midnight Records back in the day.

My wish list? Ohmygod. You mean apart from the 800-odd vinyl albums that I haven't got on CD yet? Or the downloads I've been meaning to (is there a word for this...realsize?) get on CD - like  the remaining Beatles and Stones albums I don't have, SOTs,  now I need all The Monkees LP's. the aforementioned Tree With Roots, those wonderful looking Talking Heads reissues (have got the orginal vinyl of all but they look good...), numerous bloody box sets (though my Richard Thompson arrived today - still waiting for The Band to be sent), or everything by everyone I love that I haven't got or didn't know existed...plus all these interesting ne albums that get released every week.....New Beth Orton out yesterday, there is a comp of that weird shouty zither guy - Niles something - from the Dylan biog - wasn't he amazing? coming out....Teddy Thompson LP looks interesting, Steve Adey? or something like that - got a great review somewhere this month...

Don't even get me started on DVD's....

Never did.
Just makes the rounds in MP3 form a lot. There's a silver boot around too.
It's amazing.

Things on my wishlist are the Elvis 50s, 60s, and 70s Masters boxes, the bootleg Dylan Don't Look Back Outtakes 2 dvd set, Complete In a Silent Way sessions box, Born to Run Anniversary edition with DVD, demos for the aborted Crowded House album before Woodface.

And I see Sony are releasing a straight CD version of the Hammersmith 75 show, just something else for the collectors to have to get.

No i'm not. Well, maybe.

I will look for that silver boot, man.  Thanks!  I knew they worked together, but wasn't aware of this.

They're in Singapore, and looks like they're calling themselves [edited by moderator] now.

Very reliable; I've ordered numerous times without a problem.  They take Paypal.

Joel - thanks - not there but looks...rather interesting!

I'll buy it; I can't help myself.  I'm just waiting for Sony to do the Basement tapes right.  That should be the next Bootleg Series release, IMHO.

Yeah, it out of print so its not usually in stock, but occasionally a single copy turns up, usually for around $200.

Alan and Joel, no offense but I had to edit parts of your posts that referenced the online boot dealer. The fastest way to shut those guys down is to openly post them on messageboards. Keep that stuff in PMs to protect them. Hate to lose a good source.

But Joel, thanks a ton for the tip!  Grin Grin Didn't know about them. I used to order from a Singapore outlet called "The Music Specialists." They were excellent, but got shut down years ago. Wonder if these are the same folks. Will definately check them out, thanks!

Good thinking Chance.  I'd hate to blow it for them (and us.)

Hey Matinee Idyll, are those the recordings where "Recurring Dream" came from? (Mullanes)
