I didn't see Our Prayer listed in the new TSS forum, so I thought I'd make a thread here. I was just listening to the Our Prayer sessions and was very surprised that Brian's hash joints and acid comments BOTH made the cut on the official TSS set. Anybody else besides me?

Yeah I was surprised too and brought it up previously.  It was then mentioned by other forum members that comments like that were probably left in for authenticity's sake and as being representative of the time period.  The only things as far as I can tell that were excised are a lot of the more colorful language that the band occasionally used in the studio.

I wondered if someone decided there's some cool cred to be had in having the squeaky clean candy striped ones audibly referring to drugs. Might have been hard to get past Mike and Al, assuming they given a power of veto.

I'm surprised Mike let it slip in, considering his notes in the book.  Grin
