Glad to see that "Love Surrounds Me" was and still is on the list!

1.  R & B were awesome.  I wish they had stayed.  They gave the band's sound a great new dynamic.

2.  I actually love the live version of SIP on MIC.  The drumming and guitar are so much fun.

L.A. seems to get mentioned a lot. I listen to that album all the time, even though it does have its flaws. Good Timin' is a song I never get tired of and Baby Blue is sublime.

Totally agree.  Party has been long forgotten tho.

Burton Cummings is a fantastic vocalist and has a lot of cred.  I can totally understand why he would say what he said.  Even still, I am fine with the album.

I need to know where to buy these on preorder.  I want like 20 cases.  Hoping to pull autograph or especially the concert used clothing pieces.

Same reason they missed the Good Ship Stereo.

Guess I'm Dumb & Little Bird live.  And, contrary to pop opinion, I don't think the live version if SIP is bad at all.

Welp.  I couldn't wait to take delivery of the hard copy after work today so I bought the MP3 version off of Amazon last night at 2am.

I won't re-hash all the praise for the new stuff....I agree.  I will say that I really love the fact that they extended the heads and tails on many of the old faves.

Guess I will read the booklet tonight when my shipment arrives at home.

Cabinessence and Do You Like Worms are my least favorite tracks on Smile.

I like the verses on Cabinessence, they're mellow and kind of spooky, but then the chorus jumps in, very big and kind of ruins the atmosphere. The chorus isn't that impressive to me, either.

I like the drum intro to DYLW a lot, but it kind of falls of for me after that, although I do like the phrasing of "rock, rock, roll, Plymouth rock, roll over."

The first being making a backup safety copy of it in case the original discs happen to get scratched/eventually become prone to disc rot and the myriad of other things us obsessive compulsives worry about. 

That's why I bought two.  One will stay wrapped.

I love all the people here speaking in absolutes, when the reality is we don't know sh*t about why things went down the way they did.

1971-1974.  In Concert isn't just their best live album by far, it is one of the best live albums I've ever heard.

it's pretty much a perfect late-seventies soft rock tune, drums and all.  The same can be said for LA Light as a whole.  If the album had been released by Ambrosia or someone of the like it would have sold truckloads.  Love it.

Probably in my 25 least favorite BB songs.

Solar System is awesome.

I love it.  But I love all the material Chaplin & Fataar brought into the group.  Their tunes sound especially good live, as on "In Concert".  Most people here hate their contributions tho.
