Quite liked these, two about Dennis from Endless Harmony and American Band and another about the humble Mike Love!

I was just going to post that Dennis tribute. Man, that press conference was hard to watch. It looks like Brian could barely get through it.

IIRC, Dennis is also present - that's him you hear at the start barking orders...

If you listen very carefully, I swear you can hear Dennis singing along in the background, about half way through.

I thought that too! "You're everything I hope for," right?
Then it kind of fades out and sounds like some sort of low brass instrument....

That's the exact spot! I'm glad somebody else heard it too!
At the very end, you can hear someone say "That's enough". Is that Dennis? Somebody needs to find out if the actual performance was filmed, and if it still exists.

Sorry about that.
Is that the video of them playing the song is some sketch place? I don't even know where. It's like a sewer being built or soemthing. Maybe not . That's what Cottonfields video I can think of.

Awesome version, the 1990s Beach Boys were still a great band when they wanted to.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Alan performing "Don't Fight The Sea" with his band September, 2010, Scottsdale, AZ.

He said it was only his second "live" performance of the song; his comment after the song indicates he had some doubts how well they sounded.
He signed my "Postcard" liner notes after the show & asked me how I liked the song.
