This was a little before the box set tour as well. Carl and Al definitely were happy with the deep cuts on that tour as a change up.

It seems like Carl is having a hard time holding his guitar. It looks like he's in pain almost. On a lighter note, it seems as though Matt saw Bruce cover his ears, and decided to hit that drum just a little harder than usual.  LOL

What a ridiculous point to try to make. Obviously, if you're coming at it from the position that Brian Wilson's music is superior to other people's music regardless of the actual success, then it's unwinnable for me. That music beats this music because I consider it better. There is a great quote in the Time-Life history of rock 'n' roll documentary, though, which is from the mid-90s. Some then-modern R&B artist is talking about awaiting new songs from the Supremes or the Jackson 5, and says, "you need to understand, what the Beatles are to some people, this was to me." That's the situation here. These people you might want to dismiss, they and their music meant a lot to a lot of people--hence the tremendous success. You can say their success (while more significant in sales) is less than someone else's, but that has more to do with you than with the music itself. It's so fucking stupid. I hate to think anyone can possibly be that stupid.
