This documentary was also new to me (you might have to browse through the user's videos to find it).

The only reason I'm posting this is because of the picture of Brian. I've seen a picture very similar, but this one is in color. Is this real? Or is it artificially colored?

Bruce Johnston performing "I Write the Songs" '77.

Backstage footage of the Beach Boys in 1981 (interview with Bruce, Mike & Al). Though I think it's late 1980.

Peter L just posted this link on Facebook. It's one of my absolute Brian faves.
It's interesting to listen to it in stereo, you hear some voices in the left channel, buried deep down (or at a low level).
Would like to hear those sessions as well...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCXFLxCARRs&feature=share
There's a lot of stuff "hidden" in Brian's songs. When for instance you listen to "I just wasn't made for these times" on "Pet Sounds sessions" you hear a whole new song!
This version from 2001 is great:

I LOVE how bizarre Brian looks in the couple shots he's in. If you didn't know the band's history, and just saw Brian on the video, I'd think the response to his appearence would be: "who's the bum on keys?"
...I've seen this video before, only it was just the band playing, didn't have a video of the woman in the shower with the L.A. postcards on the mirror.

The melody sounds like it would become "Salt Lake City" a few years later
