Yep! And I love how he sings "cell phone" at 0:51 after someone's phone rings.  LOL
That's hilarious and I didn't pick up on it the first time!

Here's a head scratcher, why is Brian singing "Marcella" in the middle of GV? Strangely it fits in musically although the prompter probably just flashed "Marcella," though I'm not sure how that mistake was made...

Nice to see a complete BB's show , even if it is shot on a camcorder (in 23 different segments on You Tube).
Very soon after Carls passing , and about the only footage i have seen with both Phil and David in the Band.
Here is a sample (by the way they even do the Four Seasons Classic 'Sherry')

Another new one to my eyes (where have these films been all these years ??)
Nice insight to L.L. from i would say 1977 , with a live performance of the song by what looks very much like 'Celebration'

I love that clip!  Grin The quality is amazing. It's slightly annoying though, to see yet another example of a concert film that we will probably never see in it's entirety.

Which makes it the Whisky A Go-Go gig from November 4, 1970 with Brian on keyboards and occasional vocals. Never saw those pictures from that gig before!

They can't be from the Whisky. In the pictures of the Whisky show I have seen, brian had much longer hair.

Actually they are from two shows at the Whisky!

To quote Ian Rusten:  "Carl experimented with the beard-but he didn't adopt it for good until the European tour in 1970.  If you look at the photos from the Nov Whiskey shows-he seems to have shaved it off again-after the first show."

The ones with Brian are from the Whiskey it's just the angles throwing you off. I'm not convinced that Carl shaved between shows. After all that beard is more the half grown in. I think the ones with the half beard are from the summer of 1970.

I agree. If you look at the other BBs, it's obvious some time has passed between the two shows.

I thought these were from a private show to introduce the Flame, or something like that, NOT the Whiskey which has a much smaller stage.

Wow, good find. I never saw it before, either. An interesting "rushed" version with Brian mixed waaaaay up front. An interesting song choice for Shindig!

[/quote]Compare the picture at 15 seconds in to the video, with the picture in the Badman book. In the Badman book, Brian's hair was longer and hihs clothes were different. I think I read somewhere that some of the photos in that video are from a party celebrating The Flame's first album being released.

He played two nights at the Whiskey this is the other night. Brian was in a loud coat at the Flame concert.

I didn't know that he was at two concerts. I thought that he cancelled at the last minute, or something like that. Something about his ear I think.

He played both sets the first night and one set on the second. Three shows altogether and the last complete shows he played where he had his voice intact.
