I was thinking of Ed McMahon instead of Sky Saxon....

The last twenty years I didn't care for the man, in my opinion there was too much smoke to say there wasn't fire as far as the allegations are concerened. However, I'm 34 years old, and when I was a kid, Michael Jackson was THE man. He was the Jonas bros. and Miley Cyrus rolled up into one. My memories of him will always be doing that moonwalk across the stage and his leather coat with all the zippers. He was a freak, but maybe now he'll be able to find some kind of peace.

My earliest memories of music were of listening to Michael Jackson's Thriller and then Bad.  Something really went wrong with that guy as the year's progressed but every now and then I'll play a little "Billie Jean" or "Baby Be Mine".  Although I don't prescribe to the belief that he was "the greatest", he certainly was in a class all of his own.

I'm not his biggest fan, but I really did enjoy a lot of Michael Jackson's music. Growing up in the 80s and early 90s, it was hard to avoid it. It is the music of my childhood. RIP, it is a sad time for music history...even if you aren't a fan of his, you can't deny the influence he had on so many artists.

Shrug I was VERY numb when I got the news of Farrah. Then about a half hour later Michael dies. I hadn't even had time to digest Farah's passing. Michaels will be found out to be someone messed with his meds. Possibly someone who didn't want to see him tour again. Wait and see in the next few days.

As for farrah,  Thud She helped many guys through their "developing" years (blushing) From what I have heard about her she was exactly the person you would expect her to be. VERY sweet and sincere.  I am working on lyrics to a song for her. I only hope it does her justice. Anyone who frequents my MySpace Blog will see it when it's done.
