I'm confused. You mean you're not going to marry me even after all we haven't been through together these last few years?

 Huh

I will get on my knees

Yes!

I shall pose very sexily!

Let's say you and me and Mr. Regenberg take a holiday together! *

* I have decided to leave Mr. Regenberg out of this as he actually comes off as a really nice guy and not at all like some lunatic Jesus freak from California who steals identities from helpless victims and goes on and on and on and on about praying. However, Mr. Regenberg does not get a free pass from the "fashion police".  police

As for Sherry Costello: no really, let's talk about me. My wife and I are celebrating our 15th year anniversary coming up. I was born in Buffalo, NY but moved to a town called Lockport, NY when I was 3 years old. My father was a supervisor for GM but had to retire early and declare bankruptcy after being diagnosed with multiple cancers. Despite having my own tv show (esotERICa) and a decent 3.8 grade average in college (my major was Music Performance: Piano but I really was going for composing/arranging), I followed my parents down to Shreveport, LA where I spent 19 ghastly years trying to get out of such a redneck bible belt place. It was of course during this time that my son was born and I spent more time working on movies (but not quite yet for the music side). Flash forward to today and I live in Las Vegas with my wife, our son, a 28 year old stepson and my mother and have devoted myself full time to a music career (composing and arranging again). One day, I was smoking some marijuana when I went on my favorite message board (Smiley Smile.net) and opened this thread and decided to become a part of it. It was during such an occasion that I completely went off on a tangent talking about myself and ignoring the one who wants all of our attention.

Stay tuned for Chapter 42 of my exciting life story in future installments of this thread!

I was wrong thinking you could be open minded about MY situation.

Why do we have to keep talking about YOU in this thread? Did you know that Pink Floyd have announced a new album coming out in October called The Endless River? Pretty exciting stuff if you ask me!

Yeah there are more interesting things. I'm reading Levon Helm's autobiography. It's got some great stories, like how Richard Manuel once tried to trade his leather jacket for another guys girlfriend.

*sigh* mental illness is strong in this one.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

I bet that does have some great stories in it. The last rock star autobiography I read was by Keith Richards and of course that was a hard one to put down.

Yeah! So much insanity in those pages. Another one I really liked was Pete Townshends, atleast for the first half. He was pretty honest about things.

Didn't Geoffrey Giuliano get into some trouble writing Pete's bio some time ago? I actually knew that guy personally back in (the above mentioned) Lockport, NY. He was also a Ronald McDonald for Canadian commercials until he stirred up trouble with them over vegetarian issues. I hadn't seen him in a couple of decades, but I remember hearing about him stealing some Who tapes or something like that. Very unscrupulous individual!

Roger, you need to direct a movie about your life. Grin

Would it be considered "lame" if I cast Johnny Depp to play the part of myself?

That Johnny Depp impersonator from Tim and Eric's billion dollar movie would work better.

That was one of the best intros to a movie I have ever seen (especially the line "what the f*** was that?"). I prefer the shows over the movie on the whole.
