It talked about part D medicaid plans and ended with two elderly ladies being so relieved that they went to a nude beach.
Oh, and the commercial was the INSTRUMENTAL for California Girls. Just weird all over. In general though I always like it when they use Beach Boys music in things, because I know the boys are making money and more people are getting to hear their wonderful music!

I'm explaing a cool commercial I saw to somebody, but can't for the life of me remember what the commercial's... you know... actually advertising! They probably should do a better job branding in some of these, but what do I know. "California Girls" used for older women going to a nude beach. And I thought using the instrumental was a nice, subtle choice that also highlights Brian's arrangement skills. :) That song is so recognizable that I'm sure many non-BB fans will ID it.

I suspected what it was advertising at the beginning (why was there a need to show a woman coping on a bicycle in the 80s when she was ... otherwise afflicted?) but then the guy and the dog threw me right off. Until explained above, I thought it was selling chewing gum, or maybe aspirin. |
