In the Still of the Night

Blueberry Hill is nothing to write home about, but I quite like the first 45 seconds of it... a lovely vocal by Mike with a stripped-down jazzy band, and an uncharacteristic moment of restraint on the album. I wish I could hear the rest of the song done like that.

Blueberry Hill--even though I think Chapel of Love is worse, I'll go with the crowd and throw Blueberry Hill over the top I think. I always thought this album stunk--now that we are examining this album more closely I see that I was wrong, it's not as good as I first thought (rimshot)

Welcome back to a new round of BEACH BOYS SURVIVOR. Remember to be respectful of others opinions. Please don't spam the thread with too much opinionating (a little is ok  :D ).... and without further ado...

Quote
15 Big Ones is the twentieth studio album by American rock group The Beach Boys, released in July 1976. It was their first studio album in three years and the first Brian Wilson-produced album released by the band since Pet Sounds, ten years earlier. This is also the first album to feature the classic lineup of the Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson and Al Jardine) since the mid-1960s with Bruce Johnston's temporary departure from the group.
Although Dennis Wilson suggested calling the album Group Therapy,[citation needed] and rejecting Pick Ya Up at 8[citation needed](after the outtake "I Wanna Pick You Up"), 15 Big Ones was named for their fifteen years in the business and for the fact that it had the same number of tracks.

I found 11 votes to thrill those who want to boot Blueberries from the proverbial Hill.

As usual vote for your least favorite track. The track with the most votes gets voted off.

Tally on March 13th
