Heated debates are welcome, but please keep to the point of the subject matter and don't ever get personal. That's all we ask to keep this place a fun and safe environment.

Consequences are simple, if one of the moderators feel that you are going out of line, they will ban you for the time necessary. If you have any problems please discuss them in a  private message to one of the moderators.

That right there is key. You guys have a complaint, let me & Joe know privately, and we'll deal with it.
Simple.

I believe a very thick line should be drawn between ideas and behavior.  Too many times I've seen people attacked because of unpopular ideas or beliefs.  I've seen threads and messages deleted and derailed, not because a person verbally attacked or threatened someone, but because the expression of their opinions could not be tolerated by people who thought differently then them. 

If you disagree with someones statement, either say so, preferably with something to back up your opposing opinion, and move on, or ignore what has been said. 

I agree that "heated debates are welcome," but I think it's important to emphasise this is not the place to assault people and destroy their reputations. 

Just my opinion.

Adriana Lima never was a member of that board. However a couple of posters had an unhealthy but funny semi-obsession with her.  :lol

I did post in an old thread, however, this thread is stickied and therefore always at the top of the board. That makes it quite different than posting in a regular years-old thread.

There's this other board I post at somewhat frequently where most of the people there don't like me, so it's not like this is anything new, so I don't care.

If the box doesn't come out soon there isn't going to be a message board left to discuss it on.

I have already seen a few violations of that rule on the Sandbox. But I'm not a dobber, so...

Given that was posted (admittedly many years ago) by a mod who once stated in a public thread that he never read any complaint that had my name on it, I find that hugely ironic. Mods are supposed to be neutral and above petty personal squabbles: it's part of the remit. Jonas demonstrably isn't.

Just checked up that thread - if you mean the last picture, which I'm sure you do, then it's utterly disgusting. And people actually went shocked by the picture of Brian posing like an athlete? This is even worse & in such a nice innocent thread, no less. 

It was a funny joke, a play on words or double entendre if you will, about blue, tits and nature. I thoroughly enjoyed the thread and I hope it continues to be the delight it is now.

Swedish Frog's satire is the highlight of the board.

I personally feel such in image added  to the topic at hand in a very beneficial way... I don't see what was wrong?

I don't really know what's going on but yeah - the frog's the bomb. Yeah.

And I'm totally here on my own terms.
