Disney Girls noooo  Shocked
It's in my top 3 for this album  Grin

I vote for Don't Go Near The Water. Great song, but that part Al sings makes me cringe every time I hear it. Sorry Al  Cry

Looking at Tomorrow has its existence justified through that prog rock version they did in the eighties(!), it rocks and is just so unexpected for a life band that had really fallen into the trappings of nostalgia.
Shocked

This I have completely missed.

Here you are:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upfghY2KK3s
Had to bump this to the next page.  Hope it saves "Lookin' At Tomorrow" for awhile.  Mar Beat has some other Great stuff, check out his channel.  Including Fisher & Brooker's "Ghost Train" and videos he put together for a couple of Mike and Dean tracks.
.
My vote to Bonk:
"Disney Girls (1957)"
.
This will be the track I'm sticking with until it's gone - unless I need to try to save something.  Garfunkel did this vocal so much better.  He considers it to be the thirteenth best, on his list of 134 solo tracks.  I listened to Surf's Up last week-end to try to understand how ADITLOAT could possibly be getting votes this early in the game.  Couldn't, you guys are Nuts! Rock On Jack!

lookin' at tomorrow....shame about dgntw.....if you were actually around in 1971 that song fit the times. it was the song played on am radio in my neck of the woods, even on wls and wcfl when one could pick them up at night, when the lp was first released. sounded great back then. it got lots more play time than the lpr single back here.

These categorizations might work If it was 1963 and we were all a bunch of 12 year old girls clutching tear soaked pictures of our favourite beach boy.

Quote
Surf's Up is the seventeenth studio album by American rock band the Beach Boys, released on August 30, 1971 on Brother Records and Reprise. The album was released to more public anticipation than the Beach Boys had previously had for several years. The album's title is taken from the song of the same title written by Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks for the abandoned studio album, Smile.

Welcome back to the a new round of BEACH BOYS SURVIVOR. Remember to be respectful of others opinions. Please don't spam the thread with too much opinionating (a little is ok  Grin).... and without further ado...

I don't think a song has ever been voted off with so many votes (32). Does that mean it's the most hated song in BB history?  LOL

Don't Go Near the Water in Mexico!!!!!

VOTE OFF YOUR LEAST FAVORITE TRACK!!!

Tally on February 21st!!!

Long Promised Road
Disney Girls (1957)
Feel Flows
Lookin' at Tomorrow (A Welfare Song)
A Day in the Life of a Tree
Til I Die
Surf's Up

Round#1 - Student Demonstration Time February 13
Round#2 - Take a Load Off Your Feet February 17
Round#3 - Don't Go Near the Water February 19

My least fave would have to be.... Disney Gurrrrls... If this one doesn't get voted off soon I may contract diabetes.

Well that's the three obvious ones gone - now it gets difficult.

I absolutely love every one of the remaining songs, but going to reluctantly say Lookin' At Tomorrow, despite that bit towards the end when the chiming organ comes in always - always - making the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. Arguably Al's finest moment.

Switching to Lookin' At Tomorrow (because Disney Girls has no right to be voted out until at least the last half of voting rounds).
