Country Pie. (Yes, no one in the band wrote it, but that doesn't make it a cover)

Was that ever officially released?

Okay, not strictly legit but more circumventing-legit!

Wow.   Shocked

I always skipped over Pitter Patter. Every time. It's a good example of what Dennis Wilson was alluding to:

"That album (MIU) is an embarrassment to my life. It should self-destruct."

Now, what was this thread about again?

I would say Dennis was more on the money with Kona Coast, Wontcha Come Out Tonight, Belles of Paris and Winds Of Change. Now those are embarrassments. Pitter Patter might have childish lyrics, but the melody is great and the production is clear and nicely done.

Hard Times should have been included. I love that one! But I wonder which Beach Boys are featured on that song. Blondie, Ricky and probably Carl and Al?

The only Beach Boys on "Hard Times" are Blondie and Ricky.  As far as I know, they're the only people at all on the track.
