Sad news. Eric was a major fan / admirer of the Beach Boys.

So sad to see so many of our musical heroes pass away.

I loved his group Raspberries. Their debut is one of the very first albums I ever bought and it still smells of raspberry. The Raspberries helped create Power Pop with Big Star. RIP, Eric.
