Landy... Porgy... it's the same kind of syllables. That's just my pet theory. That's why Brian, Mr. I Smoked 200 Cigs A Day So I'd Sound Like Sinatra Instead of Minnie Mouse, demanded that the gender perspective of the lyrics remain unchanged. There are shades of "I Sleep Alone" there.

Also, I think "They Can't Take That Away From Me" is about Diane.
