Hmmm, turns out the computer was crashing due to the power supply failing. I used my amazing deductive abilities to figure this out when giant sparks, flame, and black smoke shot out of the back of the case from the power supply.
"That'll be the power supply."
Of course, as I replaced it last night I managed to spill coffee all over the keyboard and ruin that as well... AND scramble the hard drive and mercilessly beat up the boot sectors. Yay.
Hours and hours and hours of updates later...
Let this be a lesson to us all. Avoid black smoke coming from your possessions whenever possible.

well, I'll definitely be up to no good at the Greek Theatre gig. Maybe I'll split it in chunks and put up a more finished section soon and then add the later bits.
I wonder if Foskett will keep the "from Hawthorne, California... the original Beach Boys" concert intro. What with being the ones actually from Hawthorne.
