In '87 Brian inducted Leiber & Stoller into the RnRHall of fame. He sang "On broadway" acapella, which led to his soloalbum. Yet I've never seen footage, oictures or heard audio of the introduction.
This clip (1:25) has a snippet of Leiber & Stoller's speech and it's the first time I've seen any footage from this.

Didn't he sing Sound of Silence at a Paul Simon tribute in the nineties?  Never heard that one either.

I believe so, but I don't know if that Paul Simon-tribute was recorded/televised, but the induction of Leiber/Stoller must've been recorded and televised as the clip I posted shows
