Underrated, IMHO. They sang sugary sweet, of course... but there was an underlying sense of irony, of 'knowing', sort of tongue in cheek. Finest three minutes: 'High Coin', composed by Van Dyke Parks. Stunning piece of West Coast Harmony Pop. Covered to great effect by the WCPAEB.

Interesting group...not as mainstream as the Beach Boys or the Association but there's definitely some magic. Some good sunshine pop sounds.
