I have been to Fingerprints many times, and it is a fine, fine independent store.

Slim, just wondering, which Tower Records store will you go to?  (I envy you!)  Here in the States they are all gone (as I'm sure you know).

I'm in Ireland and we got a few here, one right in the heart of town.

I know the guys and girls who work there and they are putting a 2cd and a vinyl to the side for me just incase it's sells out by the time I get in after college...

I was talking to them just today and it seems a lot of people have been asking about smile's release date, tower are expecting to sell out

You Irish people have all the best things: poets, booze, record stores, women........

Digging the new "Child" vocals like everyone else, along with the tantalizing bits of "Surf's Up '67" and the vocal montage - I've listened to a lot of samples over the past week (or however long it's been), but all they've done is drive my anticipation level that much higher for the real thing

I've listened to one.....and it was amazing. I can't wait to hear the vocal montage - probably what I'm looking forward to the most! I'm just wishing November 1st would come sooner! This wait is unbearable!!!

We all hear ya. The constant checking the boards for every little bit of info, every sound sample, every review. Checking for that little bit of new info that might reveal some revelation. Never in my life have I been anticipating a release, and I'm relatively new to SMiLE.  BWPS was my true intro to the album. I can't imagine what it must be like for those who have wait 20, 30, even 44 years.

Only a few days left. Hang in there.

Also - interesting that Brian had a count-off before the 2nd verse of the '67 "Surf's Up". Could this have been the beginning of the basic track he intended to build upon?
