great design. i love it!

funny... i was asked to create some retro 80s arcade-themed designs recently.

which led me to stumble across these brilliant video game "propaganda" posters:

http://gamerant.com/retro-game-propaganda-posters-don-18251/

here's another good one, a bit more obvious:

i'm not sure how this translates into Beach Boys, but there are so many possibilities.
SMiLE could be a whole graphic novel.

i'm open to suggestions!

shirts are $20, and I've got various shipping prices depending on where you're located. drop me a line if you're interested: sharkdeville@yahoo.com

20 bucks is pretty much standard for a t-shirt anymore.
this was a fun project for diehard fans... a specialty market for sure.
my initial batch was only 12 shirts, so I'm really not making much money here.
If I can do a larger batch, the price may go down a couple bucks but like i said, 20 bucks is pretty standard.

I am in touch with Mr. Dunbar.

Are the black bars where you'll be putting images of the BBs?

The black bars are the logo of Black Flag, another legendary punk band.
You consider the BBs a punk band?  or is that in reference to the ramonees?
I don't understand what you're saying here- The black flag parody shirt has the black flag bars with the beach boys name its fuckin awesome; the one with the brother records logo AKA 'appeal to the great spirit' has the ramones style US seal around it in the circle. black flag and the ramones were awesome just like the beach boys were awesome, just in a different way.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- CHUCK BERRY INVENTED ROCK N' ROLL, THE BEACH BOYS PERFECTED IT, AND THE RAMONES REJUVENATED IT!

No, but I hear them get called that a lot when "I Get Around" is involved.

The Beach Boys weren't punk just because they had a few energetic rock 'n' roll songs, or because they influenced punk bands like the Ramones, the Queers and the Travoltas. Punk is raw, dirty, stripped down, rebellious, aggressive, bratty, opinionated... The Beach Boys were none of these things - or at least their music wasn't. Whenever I'm listening to music it's usually either The Beach Boys or punk rock, and to me personally these two always felt like exact opposites. But maybe that's just me.

I advise anyone and everyone who's a Beach Boys fan to listen to the Queers and Travoltas if they haven't already; 'specially these Queers albums- "Don't Back Down", "Punk Rock Confidential", "Pleasant Screams" and "Munki Brain"; as well as the Travoltas' "Teenbeat", "Modern World", and "Endless Summer". Great records!!!

looks good!

I'm hoping to get a batch of these printed in the next week or two. Some L and some XL...

you guys get priority... who wants one???

I'll take a Large in black or white, not sure which i like better.... No Murry though,he is the reason that Brian was so fragile in the first place. Maybe if Murry would have lightened up a little bit  then Brian would have had the guts to stick up to Mike Love and the other anti-SMiLE band members.
