Taken from http://www.gloriousnoise.com (nice spot, but that's hardly the point here):

Another New Low: 4.83 Million Albums Sold Last Week
By Jake Brown
September 15, 2010
How low can you go? According to Billboard, overall album sales totaled 4.83 million units (that's physical CDs plus digital album downloads) last week, which is the lowest it's been since SoundScan started tracking sales. Should we start taking bets on when it will stoop below four million? I predict March of 2011.

1. Sara Bareilles - "Kaleidoscope Heart" - 90,000 (debut)
2. Eminem - "Recovery" - 81,000 (down 12%; cume: 2.5 million)
3. "Now 35" - 63,000 (down 40%)
4. Katy Perry - "Teenage Dream" - 59,000 (down 33%)
5. Disturbed - "Asylum" - 57,000 (down 68%)
6. Stone Sour - "Audio Secrecy" - 46,000 (debut)
7. Interpol - "Interpol" - 38,000 (debut)
8. Justin Bieber - "My World 2.0" - 35,000 (up 14)
9. Anberlin - "Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place" - 31,000 (debut)
10. "Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam" soundtrack - 31,000 (up 11%)

Had they added in the numbers for BWRG for the "unsold by stores, because they didn't have any in stock" , that could have easily been 5.2 million units...

Judging by the utter crap that is on that list they should count themselves lucky that managed to sell anything.

I'd rather be forced to sleep with Caitlyn Jenner then ever have to listen to NPP again.
