Thanks, should have thought of that myself!

Never heard of this before, I wonder if it's worth tracking down. Always keen on hearing some of Brian's early-seventies voice.

I have a question about this...I've "heard" a copy of this "TM in the AM/PM" song that opens with a clip from an interview with one of the Boys about TM. It sounds A LOT like a slightly gravely voiced Brian. Sounds like what I think he'd sound like around CATP era maybe. In it he claims: "I personally combine the two together, I meditate while under hypnosis, I do it at the same time". Does anybody know anything about this--where its from? Who's interviewing him? If there is a full version somewhere? It definitely sounds like just a small clip of a discussion. I'd love to hear more about Brian's (and all of the guys') meditation practices.

Also, on the page AGD linked...very happy to know Brian and Spongebob have been in the same studio together  LOL.

going from memory here because of my loss..but the 1st time i can remember TM being used in an interview was in 1974 in a 6 hour six part interview by bob harris called "the beach boys story" from the bbc. i had the original reel to reel tapes sent to a local radio station. had a date of (i think) august 1974 on the tape boxes. but mike is the one talking after a clip of TM is played.

edit: i was thinking of this on the drive home from work. there were so many interviews during this time period. now that i think of it, i think that interview you heard was from an early '77 (i think march 1977 was on the reel to reel box label) king bisquit flower hour special called "a conversation with brian wilson". best to my recollection that is where it came from. and it circulates among collectors.
