"Official"  would mean Phil signs off, approving of the content - and of the payment to him.  Such a meeting of the minds between Phil and any potential filmmaker would seem unlikely.   So unlikely while Phil is alive, at least while he is in control of his affairs.  Will there an unofficial film? Yes there likely will be if somebody can figure out how to do it without getting sued.

Phil would probably settle for nothing less than the directors chair and a starring role. So we'll have to wait a bit.

It'd be a hell of a biopic, though

is there a lot of video footage of Spector?  All I've seen is a 'music promo' for White Christmas & his piano performance on the TNT Show

He was in an episode of I Dream Of Jeannie. Plus all of the news footage from his murder trial.

on the topic of Spector....

been reading He's a Rebel by Mark Ribowsky (which is fantastic btw), I'm in the 90s era during the Celine Dion sessions....have any of these recordings seen the light of day?

In the book, they say the tracks were great, I'm not sure if she sung on top of them; Spector took up so much time to do em (perfection for his "come back")... And there was the big fuss about Phil owning the tapes, which he has a history of doing with the like of Lennon and Cohen
