I'd love a cool Beach Boys shirt with something like the Sunflower cover on it, but the amount of beach boys merchandise is insanely scarce. Is there a reason why there's hardly any? The Beatles have an infinite amount of shirts and memorabilia.

If anyone has any places to get some Beach Boys items, I'd appreciate it.

I have so much BB clothing I don't know what to do with it. Much of it from the Sherry Holt collection from the mid 80's. Sadly, I can no longer fit into much of it. The 3 beach towels will always be used though. Are they beautiful, soft, AND large. Like a beach towel should be. I will always keep my Beach Boys sunglasses though. Been offered alot for those over the years at concerts.

I have about 6-10 shirts and some Sunkist shorts...other than a yellow shirt from 2001 or so, I have never worn any of my Beach Boys stuff.  Even the stuff that doesn't look half bad.

I used to make BB shirts.  I no longer do but I have Dennis, Brian and H&V (sheet music is what is on the shirt) shirts still available in most sizes.

I don't have a webpage and don't know how to post pics here but write me and I'll send you any information.   $16 including postage (XXL $18) in the US.

I've got a bunch of shirts that I bought at concerts, shirts I've been given by Record promo people and ones I've bought offn Ebay. Same thing pretty much for caps.( the kind you wear on your head) A beach towel or two; one I think was a promo towel for BBs LA.
More than one of the shirts that Greg Larson made; they're really great!  Thanxx Greg, you're the best.
also a few BBs jackets, and a really cool (IMO) old BBs Sweatshirt (I think it's one the fan club sold in the Smiley Smile era)

I bought a sweet-ass 15 Big Ones iron-on from eBay a few years back. I wear that shirt with pride on special occasions.

I watched a you-tube video recently, don't know which one, and someone was wearing a sweet 'Appeal to the Great Spirit' Brother records  t shirt. Anyone know where that would have come from?

Quite like the Brian Surf Club shirts that were on sale through his last tour.

I got a neat DW shirt from http://www.merchdirect.com/

Pet Sounds in Newcastle in the UK used to do a good SMiLE tee with Holmes art.  I don't even know if the shop exists although I see the owner around town and he was at the last Brian gig up here.

Urban Outfiiters used to sell a SMiLE tee.  Not sure they do any more.

The Pet Sounds shops on both Bewick Street and Eldon Square are closed unfortunately...

No, but I found a beautifully faded orange tie-dyed "Appeal" logo, Ten Years of Harmony-style cursive BB t-shirt, XL, dated 1976, at Thrift Town in Vallejo, CA, for 99 cents a few years ago. Couldn't believe my eyes, it was so incongruous, thought it was a mirage for a few seconds! Now I'm too fat to make it work for me. Cry

That belt buckle sounds really sweet! I was looking for a 1975 Bally "Pinball Wizard" belt buckle for years before I found one. Now that (sigh). Tongue

YEAH!  I bought shirts from Greg, too.
All  of them are super nicely done, on good quality tees. If you want some great BBs shirts to wear, you should talk to Greg about getting them!  Can I say that here?  ( I've got mine)
If I can get my camera to work, I'll try and do some pics of the shirts I got from him.

How old was that video?  I used to have two different versions of those shirts, one blue and one yellow, but that was way back in the early to mid seventies!  Don't recall where I got them, other than that it was at two separate times at either a record store or some small local shop.   Those shirts  used to always get many reactions of "Hey, where did you get that cool shirt?" from BB fans or at BB concerts back then.  (And, while it was the Bro Records logo, the shirts said The Beach Boys above the logo.)

On another note, sorry to hear that the Pet Sounds Record Shop has closed.  I recall doing business (mailorder from the UK to the US in the pre-internet days) with the location at Newcastle Upon Tyne.

It was a newer video but still unsure from where. I have a bit of time so may have troll.

For some reason I'm thinking yellow, THE BEACH BOYS curved above the statue and Brother records along the bottom.

edit

The Fendertones.

The seller's still active. I've recently met him on a record fair here in Holland. And I think he's still doing business on the internet somewhere, but I have to look up the web site.

I did have a yellow t-shirt similar to the one in the Fendertones video.  It may have been identical, or the lettering may have been curved around the Bro Records logo, as it is on the BBs in Concert album. (Or maybe I had both.)  Anyway, although I stated earlier that I had gotten my Brother Records logo t-shirts at shops or record stores, I'm now thinking that the yellow t-shirt I had was sold at BB concerts starting in late 73 after the release of The Beach Boys in Concert.

Just checked some old photos, and on the morning of Jan 1, 1974, after a New Years eve BB concert the night before, I'm wearing a yellow Brother Records logo Beach Boys in Concert t-shirt, which I now recall (funny how photos can jog your memory) I purchased at the 12-31-73 concert the night before.  So - to answer the question, different versions of Brother Records logo BB t-shirts were available back in the early to mid-seventies.  Don't know how long they were in production, but it would be great to see them available again.  Then again, if you have the artwork, it's easy to get custom made t-shirts these days.
