As a longtime fan of the Disney films, was saddened to hear that Roy E. Disney died today. Always was a fan of supporter of Roy Disney and greatly enjoyed any interviews I read with him. Rest in peace.

A fairly down-to-earth person who once was around the Beach Boys quite a bit "back in the day" once said to me, "the problem with Mike is he always took himself so damn seriously."  Which to me was a pretty illuminating statement.

The true last straw of the Disney era...
Man, that's sad. I'm  a HUGE Disney fan. I remember when the last of the "10 old men" died a few years ago. This is truly the end of a great era, not just in cartoons and animation, but film making in general. I have great memories of the Disney channel from the late 80's and early 90's. Disney used to actually mean something at one time....

I only wish the evil empire that is the Disney Corporation would've died with him! Don't let childhood nostalgia cloud your judgement!!
