Actually the Mrs. Miller joke might work too. Isn't there a Beach Boys cover somewhere in her oeuvre? (Or for that matter on any of her records?)

I think she covered God Only Knows later in her career. The other BB connection is that she was signed to Capitol Records and was actually promoted rather well by them considering her novelty act status. She had some small hits back in the day.
